Last year i started my first year of college at BYU and it was a blast. i met a ton of people there and learned a lot of new things. I lived in Bowen Hall and it will forever remain in my heart. I had some sweet roommates in room 16, Kelsey, Jordan, Morgan, Sarah and Sam, but it wasn't often that you could find me there. Shockingly, BYU was the first place in my life that i had to choose between friends that were making good decisions and friends that were doing things that i didn't want to do. That's why i spent most of my time in Bowen 12, where my newly found best friends, Katy and Marissa, lived. when i look back at my freshman year of college, i don't think that i did all the crazy, fun freshman things that a typical freshman would do but i sure did meet some people who changed my life. these friends reminded me of who i am and who i want to be. i think i spent a lot of time hanging with Harold making sure i got all my homework and studying done and occasionally a little extra reading on the side. marissa, katy and i made enough spaghetti to last a lifetime which produced enough bodily functions to probably kill a person. we loved to eat popcorn and watch our favorite tv show, chuck. most days we just spent talking but that was good enough for us. i made good friends with some of my fhe brothers and i'll never forget them for being some of my only friends when i first moved out. i got to live next to chadly so we usually walked to class together in the morning, that is, if he woke up on time. one of my favorite memories is gym kids and special olympics. i got the opportunity to help kids from the area who have special needs and it was one of the most rewarding parts of my college experience. overall, college was an amazing experience that helped me grow and learn a lot about myself. i was grateful to be able to do something none of my siblings have done before and show my younger siblings that they can do it, too. i love college. i can't wait to go back. And... I would put up pictures but it's too hard so you'll just have to imagine them.

Friendlies

I wanted to talk about my friends because I love them.

First, Jamie. She's the bomb dot com. Jamie moved next door to me when I was in the fifth grade. We jumped on the tramp, Emily peed herself, and we've been best friends ever since. Jame goes to Utah State University so I don't get to see her a lot but we hang out every second we get. She's one of those friends that you know will stick around forever and I love her. Calluses and all.
Next is Autumn, more affectionately known as Auto. If there were two bomb dot com's, she would be the other one. Autumn has been one of my best friends since uh.. I can't really remember when. We're hurdling buddies and she keeps me laughing everyday. She's got legs for days that I love to stare at, it's ok, she knows about it, and she's almost always smiling except for the times when she's not but it's ok cause she's hot when she's serious.

This is Chadly. He's my ultra best friend forever. Chad lives up the street from me and we've been best friends since I was two and he was three. ;) Just about every memory of my childhood has Chad in it so it's hard to decide what to say about him.Chad is currently the world's best Baltic missionary. He's one of the most amazing people I know. The best thing is that he's always been my friend no matter what. I can't wait till he comes back so he can give me one of his giant bear hugs.

My last and probably most favorite friend for this post is Derek Max. Derek makes me the best person that I can be. He is always pushing me to be better and to be closer to my Heavenly Father. His excursion to the Philippines makes it difficult for us to talk but he somehow still effects me and makes me happy. To the moon and back, baby.

I really could continue to talk about all my friends but that would take a very long time because I'm constantly surrounded by wonderful people who I all consider to be some of my closest friends and who I will be forever grateful to for shaping me and helping me be a better person. Friendlies forever. (shout out to Logan Tatham, another amazing friend)

I've Got a Family

Meet the fam damily. I have a mom and a dad. Duh. Two older sisters, Sarah and Annie. A younger sister, Emily Beth Psychopants. And two little brothers, Yo Pork and Ben. I also have two brothers-in-law, two nephews, a niece and one more nephew on the way! They are my everything. I love my family more than Cheetos and I really love Cheetos. Annie ditched us and now lives in St. George so we don't get to see her very often but we still love her. Have you ever seen Little Women? Well, that pretty much sums up my sisters and I. I get to be Joe, I called it. I also have three dogs who I consider family. Sadie lives at home with us and Buck and Colt live with Grandpa Fred. I'm gonna be with my family forever. Dogs included. Love 'em!
